Well here we go. I have finally set up my Blog and hopefully now I will continue to blog on quite a regular basis.
I have been meaning to Blog for a few years now, I just never really got around to it. Plus I never really fancied the whole vlogging experience, I mean who in their right mind would put a video of themselves talking about the most random things that spring to mind on the World Wide Web.
Now I had to set up this blog as part of my BTEC IT Practitioner Course, although let's just clarify i was not forced into it, I was going to set one up anyway, I swear!
For my current unit in my BTEC course we have to Blog about how we are finding the course and what sort of progress we are making towards are current assignments.
Talking of 'Progress', have you heard the new Take That album? It is very different. I think the best way of describing it would be like this, imagine The Hoosiers, A-Ha and take that all in one recording studio at the same time, and the new album 'Progress' is what you would get as the result of this mixing of artists.
Although do not think I am saying that it is a rubbish album, because it's not. I grant you when you first listen to it for the first time you do think, Is this really Take That? But as you listen to it a third, fourth and fifth time it defiantly grows on you. Although I warn you if you think all of the tracks on the album are going to sound like their new single 'The Flood', you would be very wrong.
Anyway back to the IT, so by tomorrow I will have to have completed one of my examples on 'the barriers to effective communication', yes I know what your thinking, "you said you where doing a BTEC in IT Practitioning, not communication skills." and your exactly right I am doing a BTEC in IT, and not Communication Skills. But apparently this is one of the core units that I will have to complete in order to achieve my first years qualification.
Now to be honest I haven't actually started yet, as I have just woken up from what I like to call a 'Power Nap', so yeah I basically just fell asleep after a long and tiring week at college *sigh*. Plus to add to the reasons why I haven't started it yet is that one, I'm writing this Blog, which is part of my assignments and two, Ebbsfleet v AFC Wimbledon is on ESPN. Yes I do like my FA cup football, especially when the non-league teams are still involved in the cup.
Now for my Assignment that is due partly-in tomorrow is all about how different methods of communication can be affected by many different things, like different facial expressions in different country's may mean completely different things.
I have got to write about how Lip Reading can be affected by certain things and also how E-Mail's can be misread by the recipient and not understood in the way as the sender meant it to be understood.
Sounds Fun, I know.
Well the sooner I start it the sooner I can do something I actually want to do.
So that is it for my first Blog unfortunately, I must admit it seems a little weird writing to an audience that may not even exist. But I have enjoyed writing my first Blog.
That's all for now 'tinternet, goodnight.
