Well hello there.
Yes I'm writing the second addition to my blog at long last, trust me I've been very busy.
Well lets start off where I left you last time. Oh yeah lets perhaps not, I was asleep pretty much, although I did complete my first example, lip reading. To be honest I wasn't to sure about what I was writing and whether it was the right thing all together. But I e-mailed it, don't you just love technology, to my teacher who said it was fine.
Although one thing she did say is that she really wanted it to be presented in a creative way, like a Vlog or Podcast. But that really isn't my sort of thing. So I argued my case that I am a traditionalist, yes I know what a great word for basically saying that I'm boring and prefer to wright an essay than to make a video.
But that's just me!
I really don't get it with some teachers. They want you to be all creative and do all of these fancy exercises, but down want us to write essays and read our textbook, isn't that the basic principles of a teachers heaven?
Now being honest this whole unit of the BTEC course is not my favourite. As said before in my last post. It's not IT!
Anyway let's not start that complete moan off again.
I'm noticing a theme while writing these blogs. Yes you've guessed it I'm listening to football this time. But this time it's the mighty Brighton & Hove Albion FC V Southampton FC, yes a quality local derby. Its 0-0 at the moment, so come on you Seagulls!!!!!
Going back to the world of education, another thing I have noticed is that teachers all want to set and collect work from me at the same time. Which wouldn't be a problem if I had one teacher for each of my three subjects. But that would be to easy wouldn't it, as I have three teachers for two of my subjects and two teachers for my other subject. So that's eight teachers, who I see on a regular basis and set work on a constant basis. :P
Like at the moment I have this assignment to complete while I have work to do for both of my other IT teachers, work for all of my Geography teachers and work from all of my Physics teachers. I think that colleges must think that we don't have any form of a social life.
Although my plan to give all my teachers, when possible, mammoth essays to try and put them off giving me more essays to write. It hasn't worked so far, but I will never give up!! :P
Moving away from education, since my last post I have been to several events.
The first one being that I went to See the opening Doubles and Singles games of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 in London. This is the second time I have been to this event now and this time was even better than last year. I saw the Bryan Brothers Destroy the NO. 8 seeded Doubles pair in the world. And more importantly I saw Andy Murray demolish Robin Soderling.
Although Andy Murray got bulldozered by Roger Federer earlier today.
Then last night, I went to see Ellie Goulding at the Brighton Dome. She was epic! She did every song, apart from one, off her album and a few covers, including her cover of Elton John's 'Your Song' (yes that's the one on the John Lewis advert at the moment). Plus the support acts where brilliant.
First we had a band called, Bright Light Bright Light, they where so loud, but there was only two of them in the band. They where that good that I bought their tour EP straight after they finished their set. Yes for those of you who know me, I do buy a song or album from Support Acts I see. Music is just so much better live.
And the second support act was a band called, Sunday Girl. She was also very good *pause* looking. :P And her music wasn't that bad either. Although she did dance very strangely. But it was great to watch, if you get what I mean. Plus one of my friends standing at the gig, won a t-shirt from Sunday Girl for singing the loudest to a song. Well done Danielle, height isn't everything, as proved by you!
Well I think that's me for the night. I'm absolutely cream crackered.
Oh and just incase you where intrested BHAFC V Southampton finsihed 0-0.
Thank You And Good Night!
